Job Description

  • You will coordinate planning, administration, monitoring, tuning and performance optimization of SQL Server production databases, including optimization of stored procedures, triggers, tables, indices, and configuration settings.
  • In this role, you will perform database creation, definition of physical and logical structures, documentation, definition of operational guidelines, and data protection.
  • You will formulate and monitor database management policies, procedures, and standards, and propose as well as implement improvements to performance and reliability of database systems.
  • You will work to identify and resolve poorly performing queries that require tuning and/or optimization, as well as, monitor open support tickets, determine trends, and identify areas for improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
  • You should have 8+ years of relevant experience, as well as a Bachelor s degree.
  • You need to have SQL Server Database experience, and be able to demonstrate that experience in order to be successful in this role.
  • You must have a strong background working with SSIS.
  • Your background should include and demonstrate an ability to plan, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot high-availability techniques such as hot standby servers, clustering, database mirroring, and AlwaysOn.
