Primary Job Duties: You will coordinate planning, administration, monitoring, tuning and performance optimization of SQL Server production databases, including optimization of stored procedures, triggers, tables, indices, and configuration settings. In this role, you will perform database creation, definition of physical and logical structures, documentation, definition of operational guidelines, and data protection. You will formulate and monitor database management policies, procedures, and standards, and propose as well as implement improvements to performance and reliability of database systems. You will work to identify and resolve poorly performing queries that require tuning and/ or optimization, as well as, monitor open support tickets, determine trends, and identify areas for improvement. Basic Qualifications: You should have 8+ years of relevant experience, as well as a Bachelor s degree. You need to have SQL Server Database experience, and be able to demonstrate that experience in order to be successful in this role. You must have a strong background working with SSIS.
