Job Description

Seeking a Senior Development and Partnerships Officer. The primary task of will be to raise resources and build partnerships that can help ATREE reach its fullest potential.This position will involve working closely with the Director, members of the Board of Trustees, and staff in the Development and Communications team.The job involves:

    • Leading strategy and operations for grant development with foundations, philanthropists, governments, and academia.
    • Building partnerships with social innovation organisations, university study abroad programmes, civil society groups and the government.
    • Working with faculty and Centre Convenors within ATREE to understand their priorities and strengths.
    • Developing processes to manage and scale relationships, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Managing donor relationships and working with them to create a shared legacy.
Ideal candidates would have the following characteristics
    • A Master s degree from a top-tier academic institution (or a Bachelor s degree with other appropriate educational qualifications)
    • 10+ years related work experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant making, and/or partnership development.
    • Ability and desire to engage with multiple stakeholders across a variety of communities, disciplines and functional backgrounds.
    • A strong passion for sustainable development and a commitment to environmental justice.
  • Eagerness to continually advance their knowledge and skills through self-reflection and feedback.
Appointments and emolumentsSalary will be commensurate with experience and ability.
