We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASP.NET/ VB.NET developer with a strong background in buildingscalable, predictable, high- quality and high- performance web applications on the Microsoft technologystack.Function 1: Requirements Gathering and Specification Capture user requests for custom designs and templatesReview, analyze and prioritize the requirements based on user demand and overall strategyCompare requirements with existing third- party or internally developed layoutsCollaborate with stakeholders, the enterprise architect and internal and external developers to design the best layout/ templateWrite design specifications for custom applicationsAssign work to developers and oversee the development and test processFunction 2: Quality Assurance Design functional tests for new applicationsOversee testing and release managementValidate documentationInitiate deployment via corporate change management processAssign work to developers and oversee the development and test processFunction 3: Communication Effectively communicate with technical and non- technical team members, third- party vendors and stakeholdersDevelop clear and complete functional specifications, test plans and end user documentationRequired SkillsExcellent knowledge of Server technologies & architectures (Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, IIS) Excellent knowledge of the .NET frameworkVery good knowledge of Web Technologies & Languages (AJAX, jQuery, C#, ASP.Net, CSS, HTML, XML, XSLT) Knowledge of Silverlight a plusProven experience with analyzing and documenting complex processesProven experience interacting directly with end usersExperience with tools and methodologies for requirements gathering and modelingProven track record in Software DevelopmentExcellent writing skills and experience with creating design documents, specifications and test plans.Experience with issue tracking and project management toolsResults orientated with good communication and interpersonal skillsGood understanding of user needs of a large decentralized organization,
