Job Description

Job DescriptionPurpose: Li-ion Cell & Battery testing, Electrification supply chain managementLi-ion Cell and Battery testing

  • Manage day to day activities in battery lab and support development and Validation team
  • Develop and standardize test protocols to screen cells of different chemistries and form factors
  • Develop and standardize safety protocols for lab
  • Perform fundamental extraction of data and analysis for development teams
  • Co-ordinate cell inventory and storage with responsible battery engineer
  • Organize cell disposal or recycling of lithium ion cells after testing
  • Ensure Bosch safety standards are met & followed in battery lab
Supply chain Management
  • Responsible for co-ordination and release of purchase orders for Electrification project requirements
  • Ability to work with SAP systems for PO handing
  • Ability to communicate in a timely and efficient manner with diverse stakeholders (logistics companies, internal LOG teams, project teams, customs department)
  • Experience with basic budgeting and reporting based on POs, Invoices, and Goods Receipt etc.
  • Experience in handling import and export of materials including DG items. Also knowledge in imports exemptions duties for R&D purpose (DSIR & CDEC).
