QA will be responsible for testing related problems of complex scope extensively using standard concepts & principles. The Senior QA will work closely with the Aptean Business Systems (ABS) Development and Business Analyst teams when developing test plans. She/ he has several years of experience and expert level knowledge in testing and development cycle. She/ he works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning & execution responsibilities. She/ he possesses the ability to respond to detailed queries and suggest improvement in process. One of the core responsibilities is to coach, guide and mentor junior members in the team.Roles and ResponsibilitiesTesting of user stories (bugs, features) in Business Systems Software.Analysis of business requirements and providing test estimates.Identify, analyze, and document any issues found during testing.Define and adhere to strict testing methodologies.Defines testing methodologies, metrics, owns process improvement initiatives, and provides input to Automation team on Automation Requirements.Drives the ongoing maturity of test tools, manual testing methodologies, quality metrics and process improvement initiatives.Understands customer scenarios, responsible for ad hoc and boundary testing.Understands Engineering Process, Agile methodology and Software Development and Testing cycle, and various testing tools used.Desired Skills: Familiarity on manual testing for any of Aptean products.Familiarity with TFS build definitions, and relationships to Test Plans and Test Cases - is highly desired Experience with full software development life cycle and software engineering best practices.Ability to adapt to changing priorities and technologies in a highly multi-tasked environment Must be self-motivated and results driven, with attention to detailMust have a hunger for knowledge and drive to increase product and domain expertiseAbility to effectively communicate and document technical concepts Experience working in a SaaS environment Experience working in Agile / Scrum teamIf you are determined to give your best every day and you are seeking an opportunity to work with an amazing group of people, then apply online today!Skills/ RequirementsEducation- Any DegreeWork Experience(Indicate the approximate years of relevant work experience necessary for this position)Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
