Job Description

Key Responsibility:

  • Plans and implements new technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects. Tests, installs, and migrates software, patches, upgrades, proxies, applications, and/or hardware.
  • Communicates with IT groups to assess systems risks on those areas and to keep groups apprised of systems issues that may have an impact on those areas, including projected down times and business risks. Communicates with IT vendors to research and resolve issues.
  • Maintains, monitors, and tunes Production system and applications performance.
  • Performs capacity planning activities.
  • Writes documentation, including project plans, backup plans, business continuance, installation procedures, and troubleshooting tips. Creates diagrams, including technical topology
Requirement Details:
  • 7+ years of professional experience on Linux OS (RHEL or Suse).
  • Strong in operational Support and implementation
  • Solid experience with IT Infrastructure Operations and Support.
  • Expertise in managing Linux OS (RHEL or Suse) and service like Samba, Apache, Iptables, SFTP & FTP
  • Experience in scripting using any of Bash/Shell/python/ruby).
  • Experience with software load balancers, proxies, web servers etc.
  • Good understanding of Network, DNS, SFTP, CIFS.
  • Experience in managing Production servers.
  • Good knowledge of Linux server security and Backup under VMware environment.
Desirable requirements:
  • RHCSA and RHCE certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or coursework
