KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Senior Executive (Buying) Product planning New product/fabric development Coordinate with category buyer, designers and fit technicians to develop the tech pack Coordinate with category buyer for product finalization and commercial selling price of the product Prepare range presentation and seek feedback from retail planning every season Assess commercial viability of the design Undertake trend research, competitor store visits and Collect required data and execute seasonal trend presentations Market focus Should have strong girls apparel aesthetic look Understand the customer aspirations and needs and ensure translation of the customer requirement to the range Analyse the trends prevailing in the international market and make adaptations Undertake competition tracking on a regular basis Product delivery Provide fit approvals and pre-production approvals Allocate merchandise for respective zones in coordination with retail planners Coordinate with vendors and other departments for timely merchandise delivery Follow buying calendar Vendor management Identify the right vendor for the right product Place orders for merchandise with the vendor Negotiate for products and services within the assigned product category Provide inputs for vendor assessment Build vendor relationships to support new and ongoing sourcing needs Maintain the vendor card up to date Work with finance in raising the purchase order Resolve all vendor issues / escalations Product performance and presentation Monitor in-season and end-season of sell through and stock to plan the future merchandises Analyse sell through & update the team with sell through reports to correct the buy for the next season Initiate in season discount on slow moving products Brief the VM team on seasons Planogram Participate in the Planogram meeting every fortnight with VMs, CDM and Inventory planning team People Management Set expectations and give regular feedback to team Provide adequate support and motivate the team to deliver on the job Guide, coach, train and develop the team Manage and motivate the team to ensure high engagement levels.Salary: INR 4,00,000 - 7,00,000 PA.Industry: Retail / WholesaleEmployment Type: Full Time, Permanent ,
