We are looking for a FPGA design verification engineer for our hardware platforms.
Responsibilities:
Complete ownership of designing and delivering high quality FPGA design and verification environments. Work with Board design, Signal integrity, Software development, Manufacturing and sustaining teams on the program. Deliver high quality Functional specification, Register definitions and Microarchitecture documents. Work with large cross-functional and cross-geography team in capacity of FPGA lead engineer on an NPI program.
Qualifications:
BS/MS in electrical engineering with at least 4-6 years of industry experience, preferably with networking background in FPGA/CPLD design and verification Career background of delivering complex designs and should have seen all phases of design life cycle from RTL to timing driven synthesis to place route, static timing analysis. Experience in bringing up the design and perform feature testing in the system Experience in using design tools from multiple FPGA vendors such as Xilinx, Altera and Lattice Experience of working on multiple protocols such as DDR-2/DDR-3/PCI/ Utopia / POS-Phy / SPI / XGMII / XAUI / PCI express/I2C and experience of designing high speed interfaces using Serdes cores Strong debugging and lab skills are expected; should be comfortable with high end oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers and networking test equipment Knowledge of designing UVM based verification environments is a plus Ability to deliver engineering as well process innovations A team player; Strong interpersonal, communication skill
