As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer you are responsible to the Directors of Cheal Consultants Limited, through the RotoruaRegionalManager for the following:-Planning, directing and conductinginvestigative work to analyse the likely behaviour of soil and rock when placed under pressure by proposed structures, and designs above and below ground foundations.-Performinggeotechnical site investigationsand analyses.-AssistingEngineers with producing engineering reports,plansand specifications.-Preparation ofdrawings and/or provision ofinformation to draughting staff in order for them to produce plans and drawings.-Conductsite assessments to determine appropriate location for structures/foundations.-Seeksguidance from on matters relating to quality of output, presentation and on any circumstances where negotiations/communications with clients are causing, or has the potential to cause, difficulties.-Close liaison with the Regional Manageron job progress and particularly any indications that deadlines/targets might not be achieved.-Preparing tender documents, assessing tenders and reporting to the client as required.-Providingassistance with writing and pricing offers of service.-Supervise and administer contracts.-Any other tasks associated with your allocated jobs and duties as delegated by aManager or Dire
