Job Description

*Job Purpose: To work as an integrated member of the business line leadership team, this role provides strategic HR direction to support the delivery of the business line s short and long-term business strategy. Play strategic/trusted advisor to the business for all P&C priorities support Arcadis s vision of improving the quality of life and becoming employer of choice Cascade all P&C interventions from organization -> team ->individual levels. Build and develop stakeholder relationships. Play a coach/mentor role to employees and line managers, TAW advocacy, D&I programs, Talent management and development for the specific business group. Nurture Employee Experience throughout the ELCM. Develop relationships with global HR teams to adopt and institute the best HR practices for GEC India. Participate in global P&C projects.This role covers a defined business group based across different locations in IndiaKey Accountabilities: Act as strategic partner with the business stake holders to achieve business goals Deal with complex sensitive day to day people management issues Work towards employer of choice by identifying talent drivers Collaborate with global and regional teams to drive business objective on people front Support develop and coach people managers to manage employee relation using statutory law policies and procedures Act as an interface between the head of HR and the business while leading all change management for the business on HR front Provide solutions for business on HR administrative tasks Handle vendor relations for HR related requirements Work closely with HR head to design HR strategy as per identified business goals Provide guidance and direction on people issues to Business Line Leaders, establishing action plans which focus on opportunities to deliver solutions that add value and mitigate risk. Conduct Focus groups and address the employee issues. Promote HR systems and act as an ambassador for company while targeting higher talent retention Identify areas of improvement across HR fraternity and recommend sustainable solutions Demonstrate high level of financial capability by having an in depth understanding of the sector (billability, pipeline, revenue), how it operates, how it creates value and where HR can add commercial value Monitor exit interviews, analyse the trend and design people plan Conducts weekly meetings with respective business units. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. Partners with the legal department as needed/required on employee issues, reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation. Develops contract terms for new hires, promotions and transfers. Assists international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs. Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success. Follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Performs other related duties as assigned. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Key Qualifications: MBR HR or equivalent and formally licensed to act as a professional training coordinator Possess 12 to 18 years of relevant professional experience Minimum of 6 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues and managing Business Line Leaders
