Job Description

As a Senior SCADA Engineer specializing in the Ignition Platform, you will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in SCADA systems and scripting skills to contribute to the automation, data processing, and user interface development. Your role will involve working with Ignition SCADA, specifically Vision & Perspective, and demonstrating intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignitions scripting workplace. Additionally, you will leverage your knowledge of SQL or other relational databases for tasks related to data logging, reporting, and analytics.Key Responsibilities:- Utilize your SCADA expertise, with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Ignition SCADA, to design and implement efficient automation solutions.- Develop and maintain scripts using Python, JavaScript, or Ignitions scripting workplace for various automation tasks.- Collaborate with the team to create user-friendly interfaces using Ignition SCADAs Vision & Perspective modules.- Apply your knowledge of SQL or other relational databases for effective data logging, reporting, and analytics.- Stay updated on Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies to contribute to smart factory initiatives.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.- 7-8 years of total experience in SCADA systems, with at least 4 years focused on Ignition SCADA.- Intermediate proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Ignitions scripting workplace.- Basic to intermediate experience with SQL or other relational databases.- Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies.In addition to the outlined responsibilities and qualifications, relevant expertise in SCADA systems integration, HMI development, and industrial automation will be beneficial for this role.
