Works independently under limited supervision and applies knowledge of subject matter in Applications Support. 1.Analysis of requirements and develop software as per project defined software processes. 2.Understanding design documents and developing application code with quality, within schedule and estimated efforts. 3.Should be proficient to write performance efficient and high quality code. 4.Provide estimate for the assigned task and do low level design. 5.Gain good level of understanding of CGI payment hub product 6.Be part of the motivated team producing high quality code
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:Primary Skills: Very good Java/JavaEE fundamental concepts and design principles. 5 years of Java / JavaEE coding on mission critical, high performance transaction systems Solid knowledge of Spring framework, REST APIs, Web services, Messaging, SQL, Kafka, Hazelcast Proficient in Java Messaging Service and EJB 3.0 Strong java multi-threading and asynchronous programming concepts. Strong knowledge in java File I/O handling, JAXP, JAXB, JPA, Annotations Familiar with unit testing APIs like Junit, Mockito. Very good trouble shooting skills using debugging tools and analyzing application logs. Good SQL knowledge and DBMS concepts is a must. Should be able to understand stored procedures. Familiar with version control software like Bazaar, Subversion, git etc. Experience with working in larger teams Experience using continuous integration tool like Jenkins or Bamboo Software agile development experience Experience in working with distributed, international teams Desirable Skills: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes Payments knowledge Software product development, maintenance and support Knowledge of GWT UI framework and Angular JS Python Oracle PL/SQL Oracle SQL tuning, hints, ability to read execution plans UML modelling
