Job Description

This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.Objectives:To manage the delivery and support of cost effective, high quality Technology services that will enable supported Businesses to satisfy their customer needs and to achieve their business objectives.To manage integration of new messaging & mobility services on Client Systems.Should be able to provide technical solutions with cutting edge technologies.Key Accountabilities:The responsibilities include the following:Managing a technical team should have knowledge on Python, Machine Learning, AWS , Java/J2EE , Microservices , Docker/Kubernets.Hands-On technical knowledge is mandatory.Project managing roll-out and integration by driving deliverables, managing schedule and coordinating resourcesSingle point of contact for project, application rollout and issue management.To ensure processes, guidelines and procedures are in place and enforced for quality in installation, running, operating and support of all standard desktops, servers, local and wide area networking infrastructure, legacy systems and email system.To evaluate the technology solutions delivered by business and IS and develop acceptance criteria and process for the operability and supportability of the solutions.To ensure that technical solutions proposed satisfy both the immediate and long-term needs of the business, and ensure adherence with the Group s technical and security standards in all aspects of the team s activities.To assist in country technical support on resolution of complex issues and rolloutsProvision of Intel infrastructure for new applicationsProvide technical input during analysis phase of new projects to ensure that they are supportable/maintainableTo ensure new and existing environments conform to SCB and GIS/Technology standardsCo-ordination and handover of support of new applications to the production support teams including any internal training requirementsTo work with outsource and other vendors including on site engineers who are responsible for the ongoing support of SCB business s to ensure a secure, stable and highly resilient environments.To maintain an expert knowledge within the team of technology and industry trends in relation to business requirements, and the direction of the Group.Regular and timely communication at all levelsProvide budgetary input to technology domain for desktop support infrastructure.Provide support advice to other support units to minimize business risks in desktop usage area.Validate proposals from Architecture teams within areas of focus and responsibility.Define and maintain the process for integration of new Desktop infrastructure services.Manage desktop service standardsMaintain professional contact with outside agencies to keep abreast of technological changes and innovationsMaintain internal business contacts to keep abreast of business changes and innovationsManage capacity of responsible global desktop infrastructure.Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:The successful candidate should possess:At least 10 - 15 years of working experience in a senior IT management capacity.Strong knowledge and experience in managing IT service delivery.Strong understanding of working as a partner with service providers.Strong negotiation skills.Strong ability to articulate and translate business requirements.Capacity to lead and manage staff with different cultural backgrounds.Sound knowledge in technological development of Intel products.Strong ability to enforce disciplines and assure adherence to best practices.Willing to work with peer groups to explore and share new ways of doing things.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Reports to: Head of CS, Client SystemsApply now to join the Bank for those with big career ambitions.,
