* EcoStruxure Power System Architect Job Description Family: Pre-SalesBusiness: Digital Energy/DPSYSTitle: Sr.Manager/DGM - EcoStruxure Power System Architect (SAT5) Location: Bangalore/ Chennai/Mumbai/Gurgaon About the Profile: EcoStruxure Power System Architect is to offer a range of digital applications to fulfill customers needs in Electro intensive segment such as Power & Grid, Mobility, Oil & Gas , MMM & critical facilities such as Data Centers, Large Hotels, Healthcare, Industrial Facilities, etc.Following are the responsibilities for the role: Major Responsibilities
• Work closely with the V1/V2 Sales, segment teams & Global Solution Architect for EcoStruxure Power Digital Offerings
• Take full responsibility for deploying EcoStruxure Power digital strategy for the zone.
• Handhold V2 Sales and form a community of practice to boost digital revenue and innovative solutions.
• Liaison with Ecoxperts (partner) to explore technical and business fit with Schneider s Operational Technologies (OT), Schneider s digital solutions and partner capabilities
• Evaluate technical and organizational feasibility, risks, and advantages, always with a focus on customer benefits delivered/risks mitigated
• Orchestrate solutioning workshops with segment teams and customers to deliver technology-enabled competitive advantage to Schneider s customers
• Liaison with and bring in other internal stakeholders (e.g., Chief Security Officer, Digital Product Management) for technical viability & vetted Solution
• Support development and coordination of selected partnerships, from both a technical and organizational perspective, including development and co-supervision of proof-of-concept pilots
• Support creating and maintaining Schneider s EcoStruxure Power reference architectures and the re-use/positioning of these reference architectures in marketing collateral and with other customers/ Schneider s sales teams
• Contribute to the process required to identify and evaluate internal digital assets and strengths that can be complimented
• Work closely with Cyber Security team and propose OT solutions with CS
• Play an active role in project kick-offs and management approval meetings by preparing supporting documentation and by delivering subject matter expertise.
• Coordinate design activities with other multi-discipline project team members.
• Coordinate with ETAP to design solutions including ETAP simulation tools like OTS & PSMS
Act as a thought leader on emerging digital business models and technologies, articulating the digital future and Schneider s role in it internally and externally Additional responsibilities
• Keep abreast of leading trends in digital, cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality, augmented reality and combinations of technology that matter in IIoT
• Serve as a liaison to the Schneider s Cyber Security and Schneider s R&D teams
• Serve as a thought as leader for Schneider s in industry forums, possibly co-presenting with partners, and at partner and Schneider s hosted events
• Support ecosystem and market intelligent analysis and help propagate information to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders
Professional Experience
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in Industrial, Energy Management / Power Automation SCADA in B2B in any of the following roles: Solution Architect, System Application Expert, Technical Consultant
• Solid technical background and practical experience in system architectures and technology for power automation domains
• Working or expert knowledge of EMS, SCADA, Metering, Protection, RTU/PLC and, at a minimum
• Experience having led the implementations of Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) solutions in complex environments, as a practitioner or as a consultant
• Experience working in a large, global company across multiple geographies and industries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, both in building teams and influencing company direction
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment under tight timelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, creation of convincing and strategic sales approach, proposal, documentation and presentation
