Senior Manager - EDM Data Engineering - Product Job DescriptionAccountable for delivery and support of EDM master data domains (specifically Product Master Data and its corresponding Hierarchies / Reference Configurations) and capabilities along with associated strategy execution, conflict resolution and program awareness . Lead team members in day-to-day activities and provide career development guidance. Lead the effort to deliver and support the domain specific delivery of the enterprise data management solutions. Work closely with product owner and delivery the specifications along with the team of functional consultant and solution engineer. Provide visibility of Capabilities Delivered to the DTS and Overall Program Leadership.Role Expectations:

• Delivery Leadership: Lead delivery of EDM solutions / implementations (combination of projects / programs) for Product Master Data Domain (including, corresponding Hierarchies and References). Technology Agnostic approach to Solutions offered, putting forward best use cases that would maximize IT Investment in the domain concerned.
• Stakeholder Management: Work closely with Business Partners, Product Owners, Program Leaderships, Business Leaders / SMEs, System Integration Partners, Product Vendors and other DTS technology teams to drive the overall value based delivery and engagement
• People management: Experience of leading and managing team, setting up prioirties and assignment of tasks, defining career road map for the team, managing day to day activities and guiding team as in when needed to accomplish delivery milestones and cut down the associated risks .
• Project Management: Manage projects under the respective master data domain based on the scope ,budget and timelines . Track and drive the projects with focus on quality and following project delivery methodology(cycle). Manage project financials and reporting.
• Technical expertise: SAP MDG, SAP S/4, Master Data Management tools, Data Quality, Data Governance. Guide the team on the delivery issues or potential delivery threats. Insight and understanding on data migration in SAP & non-SAP landscapes. Experience in SAP Master Data Governance and related technologies along with Expertise to Deliver custom / non-SAP Solutions.
• Vendor / Implementation partner management: Work with implementation partner / vendor along with the in house team. Establish strong relationship with the delivery partners to implenmet the solution, in a multi-vendor ecosystem.
• Communication and Reporting: Effective and excellent communication with the leadership and within the team. Timley and accurate publishing of the delivery related PMO reports for wider audience.
• Diversified collaboration: Work closely with Product owner of the respective MD domain, EDM solution Architect , MDG technical architect and other geographically spread team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Global Support & Delivery Define(along with product owner), analyze, and deliver EDM master data domain specific solutions and initiatives in accordance with business priorities and annual budgets.Build strategy road maps for the respective master data domain along with the product owner . Build and manage Talent Promote and build global team, develop staff with the necessary functional and technical skills required to meet the delivery of the solutions pertaining to the respective domain.DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:Actively participate in Department-wide Engagements. Facilitate showcase of Department s achievements to various Program and Enterprise Leaderships Lead and Facilitate Organizational Culture Development initiatives and ensure adoption by the teams Engage and ensure Department-level Administrative Activities and documentations are completed on time in full, without errors.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Education required/ preferred:Bachelor or Masters Degree in Engineering. MBA (Systems) is a Plus.Experience:

• 15 -17 years of Professional experience with atleast 10 years of equivalent experience in master data (MDM) experience leading, global, remote and virtual delivery teams.
• Proven Delivery,Team and project management skills in the past.
• Specific past experience in S/4 Transformation and / or Migration Journey(ies) involving Product Master Data Implementation, is expected. Relevant experience involving SAP MDG Use Cases is preferred, and a Hub Implementation Experience is a big plus.
• Deep experience in end to end delivery lifecycle for the MDM programs such as blue printing, Build , testing , UAT and cut over
• Demonstrated skills in Data Management and Governance, strong delivery management, knowledge of master data domain, leadership capability, high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, strong communication/collaboration.
• Mandatory Experience in Master Data and Governance especially using SAP MDG, SAP ECC / S/4, Master Data Management, Data Quality, Data Governance. S/4 knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of Fiori Implementation practices is a big plus
• Experience in Master Data technologies (current versions of MDG is preferred. Additionally, any MDM, Informatica , Reltio , IBM MDM etc. is a plus). Experience in data migration preferably on SAP landscape, with ETL exposure is preferred
• Experience of Implementing and Governing Custom Collaborative Solutions (leveraging one or more of technologies Microservices, mySQL DB, Javascript, Mulesoft is a highly preferred ask.
• Experience working with Implementation Partner. Should have participated in delivery planning along with the partner to deliver solutions for EDM master data domain .
• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
• Should have excellent communication skills .Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory. Should demonstrate excellent Presentation skills

Addtitonal Skills/ competencies:Aglinment with DTS senior management on the strategy to deliver domain specific EDM master data solutions which support the organization s objectives and plans. Ensures that management is both aware of and able to provide the required status and resources, and that available resources are properly utilized and accounted for. Monitors and reports on the progress of systems development projects, using appropriate quality assurance processes to ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with agreed standards, methods and procedures.Collaboration: Work closely with geography spread team, with respective product owner for design phase and later with implemnation partyner and in house team for the delivery of the solution. Establishes milestones for delivery and has a significant role in the delegation of responsibilities.Influence: Influences managers , team , implementation partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism. Builds appropriate and effective business relationships. Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned projects i.e. results, deadlines and budget. Has influence over the allocation and management of resources appropriate to given assignments.Decision making ability: Should be good at assessing and foreseeing risks associated with the delivery .Work on the plan to mitigate the associated risks and resolve issues working with the team. Reach out to right people to escalate and draw attention on the potential risks to the deliveryMDM competency Skills: Should have business & technical knowledge of how MDM solution is used in an industry specific to a domain primarily Product Master Data, corresponding Hierarchies and related Reference Configurations. Additional knowledge of other objects such as material , vendor, customer or finance is a good-to-have. Should understand business KPIs attached to a MDM implementation program.PersonnelThis role will have people management responsibilities, and will have directReports.
