Job Description

Wipro Limited is looking for a senior communications professional to help develop and execute its PR strategy and communicate its messages to targeted media across geographies.The successful candidate will work closely with diverse business teams for idea generation and content development.The responsibilities will also include:

  • Supporting and advising business leadership on media strategy.
  • Providing counsel and support on issues management.
  • Developing media programs along with our external PR consultants
  • Organising press events
Qualification:Years of Experience: 12-16 years in Corporate Communications, preferably in the IT sector OR in Public Relations Agencies, handling clients in the IT sectorOR as a journalist, covering business/technology beats.Educational Qualifications: Post Graduate degree or diploma in Mass Communication / Public Relations /JournalismKnowledge/Skills Requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to quickly draft news releases, media Q&As, bylined articles etc
  • Broad understanding of Wipro s areas of business.
  • Understanding of key enterprise technology and business trends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders; strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong consultative and conflict management skills
