Job Description

  • The role is based in Bangalore and reports to AVP, Product Control Sales. The Product Control Sales team supports the Business on a global basis.
Key Responsibilities:The individual will be responsible for:
  • Supervise the timely production of daily PC Sales P&L reporting for SCB. The main products controlled are FX Cash, FXO, NDF, Commodities, Rates, Credit, and Money markets.
  • Responsible for the delivery of work streams and be an active initiator, participant, and driver for projects in Product Control Sales space.
  • Monitoring and review of key controls/processes around daily PL and balance sheet
  • Developing an integral understanding & enable insightful analysis and commentaries of the P&L and corresponding drivers.
  • Reviewing Daily P&L trends and highlighting gaps / opportunities to Forecast.
  • Review of Daily & Month end reconciliations between the TP systems and the ledger.
  • Liaising with different stakeholders like Sales/marketers, MO, IT, Operation, audit teams (internal and external), and respective financial controller to discuss, provide insights, understand, and resolve issues
  • Managing and leading team of directs harmoniously to achieve team objectives
  • Assist in implementation of sound controls and consistent processes around the globe to ensure adherence to International Accounting Standards (IAS).
  • Primary contact person for the business and Local Finance teams with regards to issues relating to Sales P&L reporting.
  • To initiate and implement process changes to drive productivity quality and controls. Ensure proper Documentation of initiatives and benefit tracking.
