Job Description

Responsibiliti es

  • Ownership of Quality dimension of entire products and releases.
  • Planning and Driving the Test strategy from concept to execution for entire release cycles.
  • Review detailed Test plans and test cases for all the component and system verifications.
  • Ability to comprehend and design test scenarios for complicated and high-surface-area systems including IOT Device based products
  • Quick learner to understand the functional requirements of multiple components in detail for a release
  • Drive to automate all or most of the test cases
  • Ability to prioritize test cases and strategies for maximum coverage when required
  • Manage and guide the team to develop Regression and Functional Test Cases in time to meet release objectives
  • Identifying test gaps and opportunities to expand our test case coverage utilizing prior quality and testing experience.
  • Thorough and accurate documentation of all work
  • Perform security and performance testing on a regular basis.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and products needed for the product releases.

Qualifications/Requireme nts:

  • B Tech/M Tech degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • 12+ years of Experience in Automation and Manual testing
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) and presentation skills for test activities and reports.
  • Hands on experience in automation frameworks development and enhancements (like POM, Data Driven Hybrid, Unit, TestNG) and writing scripts using Ruby, java, python.
  • Hands-on experience in testing Mobile applications Native, Web and Hybrid applications with frameworks (like Appium / Selendroid / Robotiu m).
  • Hands on experience in REST API testing automation with custom frameworks or with tools like SOAP UI or JMeter or POSTMAN
  • People management experience of managing 4-5 testers including vendors and temp resources
  • Ability to interact with vendors to get things done.
  • Experience in testing micro-services
  • Knowledge of Databases RDBMS and NoSQL (incl. Mongo, Dynamo, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.)
  • Must have played test architect role for product releases.
  • Experience with Bitbucket/Git and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Go CI /CD
  • Exposure to AWS services EC2, S3, Cloudwatch (Nice to have)
