BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Top tier MBA with 2015/2016 pass out with experience around driving org wide programs Bachelors degree preferably in a quantitative field such as business/Engineering Functional experience in Supply Chain / Inventory Management. CORE COMPETENCIES Functional Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory planning principles. (Familiarity in Ecommerce is added advantage). Strong orientation towards design thinking and Long term problem solving. Should be very analytical and be able to justify decisions and approaches with data Should be able to take a complex problem and break it down into smaller digestible chunks Ability to crystallize disparate ideas into a program, own+run the program and drive it to closure. Should be comfortable with processes and process design/analysis Behavioural Should be able to deal with a high degree of ambiguity. Influence stakeholders without authority and do so by using data and facts & thereby earn their trust. Able to function independently with limited guidance Orientation towards people management & managing a team. Technical Ability to do data analysis using SQL, R or any scripting language. About the Role The incumbent, in addition to running business programs by using the above framework, will also do the following - 1. Write business requirements document & work with Inventory Planning team, Category,Business finance, supply chain execution, transportation, Retail Operations in liasioning & evangelizing the same. 2. Will be responsible for working with all relevant stakeholders within to identify all capabilities needed for implementing the solution and prepare a timeline view accordingly for deploying the solution. 3. Will be responsible for driving cost-benefit analysis and go/no-go decisions, work with relevant business finance and sign-off on approval on all such initiatives identified 4. Will develop a roadmap and create success metrics to measure the progress of the initiative they own. They will also own writing reports that detail the progress of leadership on a frequent basis 5. Will work with product / tech teams to scope out and drive any tech changes that are needed 6. Should exhibit high sense of ownership & be the single owner of the program across the org. 7. Will be measured on the impact of their project.The impact could be financial / operational benefit which needs to be estimated at the start and progress be made against the same. They are expected to drive the entire project and deliver the above said impact. 8. Will manage reportees when added basis the need. The ideal candidate will have strong acumen around supply chain & inventory planning, excellent stakeholder management skills,ability to convince / negotiate with all stakeholders via strong business cases and ability to synthesize a wide variety of transactional problem statements into clearer business programs and build solutions for the same.
