Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Network Security Operations Administrator to join a fast- paced, dynamic and challenging environment. The ideal candidate must demonstrate conceptual understanding of Network Security and the ability to work in a global team environment. S/ he should have a natural curiosity and initiate interest to focus on IT security products and technologies. The Candidate is also responsible to provide assistance in maintaining and administering the global security infrastructure and email gateway of the company As the Senior Network Security Operations Administrator, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Level 3 operational buttress for Network Security Products & Services such as Firewalls(Juniper/ Fortinet), Email (Proofpoint/ Sendmail/ Postfix), Internet web Proxies, SOCKS and FTP proxies, Malware Protection, Intrusion Detection Systems, Network Access Control, System management(Micromuse Netcool, Empire Sysedge, SNMP), Network Behavior Analysis; DDOS Tools, etc. Endow operational support which includes Deployment, configuration, advanced troubleshooting and coordinate with the Engineering and Vendor support teams Monitor every products and services to perpetuate a salubrious Infrastructure Steer all sort of technology problems and incidents with proper coordination Engage in weekly/ monthly calls with the customers Forge and enhance Operational Runbooks and set global strategies with regional desideratum and insistence Edify the team members and communicate with various teams(networking, systems, e- business and PC support) in all major regions across the orb This is a full- time, direct employment in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Salary is open based on experience & qualifications. Qualifications: 3 years of network security administration in an environment of more than 100 servers, with more than 100 users and more than 1 operating system. Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline. Skills & Experiences: Must possess strong conceptual knowledge and demonstrate in- depth understanding of the following: Packet filtering, stateful packet inspection and its difference Routing, switching, VLANs, VPNS, NIS, NFS. Linux System admin skills (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Scripting Languages(Shell, perl, Python) Antimalware systems and network security management platforms(Lancope, RedSeal, Tufin). Firewall enterprise management(Juniper NSM, Juniper SPACE, Juniper Netscreen, SRX, Palo Alto) and Fortigate(manage 400 firewalls) Packet capture and analysis using snoop, tcpdump and Ethereal or similar tools. Host Security(passwords, uids/ gids, SIDs, file permissions, ACLs, file system integrity, use of security packages, IPTables) Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP, etc) Load balancing devices: F5 BIG- IP, A10 Interpersonal Skills: Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills. Good knowledge in IT security Strong presentation and written skills. Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills Independent problem- solving, highly motivated and self- directing.
