Job Description

    Senior PL/SQL DeveloperWe are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our database systems. As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing PL/SQL procedures and packages. Your expertise in database programming and query optimization will be essential in ensuring efficient and reliable data processing.Responsibilities:
    1. Develop and maintain PL/SQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages to support database applications and business requirements.
    2. Design and implement efficient database solutions, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability.
    3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, database administrators, and business analysts, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    4. Perform database performance tuning and query optimization to enhance system efficiency.
    5. Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of database code.
    6. Troubleshoot and debug database-related issues, providing timely resolutions.
    7. Monitor and maintain database systems, performing regular backups, patches, and upgrades as required.
    8. Analyze and optimize SQL queries and database schema design for better performance.
    9. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide technical guidance and support.
    10. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in PL/SQL and database technologies, recommending improvements and best practices.
    Requirements:
    1. B Tech/ B.E. in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
    2. Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer or Database Developer, working with Oracle databases.
    3. Strong proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
    4. Proficient in SQL and database performance tuning techniques to optimize query execution.
    5. Familiarity with database design principles, indexing, and data normalization.
    6. Experience with database administration tasks, such as backup and recovery, security, and monitoring.
    7. Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies.
    8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
    9. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
    10. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    11. Fluency in Python is necessary
    Preferred Qualifications:
    1. Oracle Certification (e.g., Oracle Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Professional).
    2. Experience with other database technologies, such as Postgres and DB2.
    3. Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git or BitBucket.
    4. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
    5. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
    6. Exposure towards Python/Selenium flows
