Job Description

    As a Sr. Product Manager for MoEngage Data platform, you will build products that will enable MoEngage customers to seamlessly integrate their user data with MoEngage for generating insights and sending personalized messages to their end users. You will also define and standardize the data management practices for tracking, maintaining and utilizing the user data in MoEngage along with user identity management and profiling.As a Sr. Product Manager in the data platform team, you will use data to guide your decisions and develop solutions to pursue some of the most exciting opportunities. You will develop a hypothesis, conduct user research, and experiments to inform your product design and strategies. You will establish your product viewpoints and share them with senior leaders, partners, and customers.What will you be doing
    • Build and optimize the user data tracking and management products like user identity management, profiling and data enrichment for a 360 customer profile
    • Launch products and features that help customers easily integrate their data sources with MoEngage.
    • Manage and improve the integration experience of the MoEngage SDK and APIs which our customers use for sending their user data to MoEngage.
    • Identify avenues for new technology partnerships and build out of the box integration modules with our partners.
    • Keep track of changes and updates in the privacy world and work with our legal and security teams to ensure compliance with all existing and new privacy policies like GDPR, CCPA, HIPPA etc.
    • Synthesize and drive product strategy from interactions with customers, business stakeholders, partners, legal and policy teams, competitive insights and market trends; build and manage an actionable product roadmap.
    • Define future concepts and build product roadmaps; Create business cases outlining projected impact for each initiative to be prioritized on the roadmap. Manage the entire product line s life cycle from strategic planning to Go-to-market activities. Provide initiative rollout status & monitor impact of each initiative launched
    • Collaborate with engineering, sales, product, customer success and support, and design teams to ensure alignment on roadmap and prioritization, and product delivery, sales and adoption
    • Balance trade-offs between time and scope while meeting user needs and business goals. Write detailed product requirements and end to end use cases with effective user stories to be used by engineering & design teams. Refine product backlog.
    Skills & Requirements
    • 4+ years in software product management with a consistent record of timely and quality delivery of software products and at-least 2 years of experience in data and API products. Candidates who have worked as developers earlier will be given slight preference
    • Experience with Project Management tools like JIRA, able to create low-fi and high-fi mockups using Balsamiq, Figma or any tool
    • High bias for action with demonstrable history of identifying and resolving cross-project interdependencies
    • Ability to juggle several initiatives and shift priorities as needed
    • Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written communication) with a knack for storytelling
    • Data Driven with proficiency on data querying and analysis. Experience with tools like SQL,Excel, Tableau, Qlikview etc. is preferred
    • Experience in one or more of the following is a plus: SaaS, Marketing Automation, Customer Communication, Data Management Platforms, Customer Data Platforms or Data Integration Platforms, Identity Management Platforms.
