Job Description

EssentialWorkday HCM(Techno - Functional)HCM/Security Job description:

  • Good to have Certification in Workday HCM
  • Understand Workdays Implementation Methodology and use the methodology on implementation of projects
  • Analyze Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to clients existing configuration
  • Resolve functional issues and understand and implement complex business scenarios
  • Technical Experience :
  • Minimum 5-6 years of hands-on experience in a Workday and overall 8-10yrs
  • At least 2-3 HCM end-to-end implementations experience, configuring and supporting Workday HCM & Security Module
  • Strong understanding of Workday security architecture and how to maintain it.
  • Experience in creating custom reports
  • Participate actively as a Data Conversion consultant on one or more project teams
  • Converting & loading Data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools
  • Support the validation of data loaded into Workday
  • Support clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project
  • Support key communication to project and client leadership
  • Closely follow the strategic direction set by leadership when establishing Workday project goals
  • Professional Attributes:
  • Good verbal written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization
  • Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or related field preferred
  • Six or more years of experience in software engineering, software architecture, or product development
  • Experience working with software design and implementation
  • Experience working with software tools including compilers, assemblers, debuggers and simulators
  • Experience working with assembly languages such as HTML programming, MYSQL, C, C++, etc
  • Experience working with operating systems
  • Experience working with business/client account objectives
  • Experience working with business areas such as sales/marketing, business/financial analysis, project management
Other Qualifications
  • Communication and presentation skills

  • Interpersonal and human relations skills to interact with all levels of internal personnel and clients
  • Ability to comprehend, filter information, apply judgment and use experience in the design and support of products and systems
