Job Description

  • Supports the established strategy and direction for resourcing initiatives to ensure that specific goals and current tactical needs are met.
  • Communicates established resourcing policies and procedures to ensure that applicable divisional, corporate and legal requirements are met.
  • Assists employees and managers in matching individuals skills with the organizations staffing needs. Assists in assessing individual skills to guide appropriate job placement decisions. Assists in identifying individuals for development.
  • Maintains appropriate systems and records to ensure adequate documentation of transactions. Prepares standard statistics and routine reports as required.
  • Collaborates with project / account management to assist in identifying current staffing needs and job requirements to ensure optimal coverage within budgets. Monitors current availability in assigned area. Determine approach to resourcing needs based upon current staff.
  • Assists in resourcing project transitions and bench activities including employee updates to resumes and skill repositories. Communicates process and assists in implementing same. Works in conjunction with subcontractors to provide for additional resourcing needs.
  • Addresses and/or mediates employee and manager concerns during selections and transitions to ensure good working relationships. Ensures assignment information is appropriately communicated and documented.
  • Provides input in intra- and inter-departmental and business unit staffing meetings to facilitate the routine assignment of the workforce across the corporation.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelors degree in human resources, business administration, liberal arts or related field preferred
  • Six or more years of human resources, staffing or business operations experience
  • Experience working with human resources principles, practices and procedures
  • Experience working with staffing principles, practices, and procedures and the specific product / service line(s) offered by the business unit(s) supported
  • Experience working with available human resource information systems (HRIS) and demand/capacity management applications
  • Experience working with the financial implications associated with the staffing process
