Senior Program Manager Microsoft Teams [ Mobile Platform] At Microsoft Teams, our mission is to enable teams to achieve more together by creating a hub for teamwork. Our users are always on the go, getting work done from coffee shops, airports, the couch and while commuting. And for many, such as those in the retail, healthcare, or service industries, their phones may be the only device that they have. That is why having a robust mobile experience where users can chat, collaborate, complete tasks, and access the business applications all in one place is crucial to drive productivity.We are looking for a seasoned product manager with a strong technical background to define, execute, and deliver on the evolution of the Teams Platform experience on mobile. You will specially be responsible to bring mobile first thinking to enable scenarios such as message extensions, message actions, bots, tabs & personal apps across mobile. The role will involve working closely with developers, ISVs (Independent Software Vendor), customer PMs as well as other engineering groups within Microsoft to innovate and create new platform experiences that help users achieve their workflows on mobile devices.Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap and build the strategy for the mobile platform to align with customer and business needs.
  • Engage and collaborate with customer PMs, developers and partner teams in the Office and other groups within the company.
  • Identify business and customer needs to remove DSATs, boost mobile usage and delight customers in a mobile-first way.
  • Work closely with design team to dream and push the boundaries on user experiences built on top of platform capabilities across phones and tablets
  • Regularly present product plans and vision to the leadership team as well as internal and external partners
  • Track all defined deliverables from conception through launch, using established processes, tools, and communications mechanisms.

  • Overall 8+ years of experience in the technology domain with 5+ years of program or product management experience; mobile experience is a plus.
  • Strong technical background, familiarity with specific platform technologies is a plus.
  • Deep customer and user empathy and ability to identify customer needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-group skills
  • Strong problem solving with strategic, technical, and analytical thinking.
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
