Job Description

The IN Process Excellence (ACES) organization is looking for a Manager to lead, mentor, and develop a cross functional team that will help us transform Amazon Indias financial supply chain. The role requires building and developing a group with a deep understanding of both Amazons, our special merchants, and their vendors supply chain.The position will require both supporting continuous improvement of our existing inbound and payment supply chain and metrics while simultaneously thinking big and driving cross functional longer term initiatives that will reshape our interaction with our merchants and vendors and enable revolutionary changes in our supply chain taking into account new technologies and Software capabilities.In this role you and your team will need to be able to clearly develop business cases for action, clearly define business rules and processes and then influence and collaborate with FCs, vendors, sellers, FBA, FC ACES, and technology teams to drive the required changes.To be successful in this role you need to have strong business acumen, a passion for diving deep into data and learning with and from our vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. You will need to be able to motivate your employees, internal and external stakeholders by sharing the bigger picture while getting them to also dive deep, learn, and be open to making significant changes to how we do business today.,

  • Bachelor s Degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Transportation, Logistics, or Engineering and 10+ years of supply chain related experience or Masters Degree in the above subjects and 5+ years of supply chain related experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs, ideally including external and internal stakeholders
  • 5+ years of experience as a business analyst or related
  • 5+ years of experience managing people
  • MBA with a concentration in supply chain, Finance and 5+ years of supply chain, finance related Experience
  • Experience with supply chain and finance systems (ERP, EDI, MRP, shop floor control, etc.)
  • Experience running supply chain organizations within Amazon as well as previous experience at other retail companies (in particular experience on the vendor management side of the business)
  • Experience in using SQL and databases in a business environment
  • Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt and understanding of Lean Engineering processes
