Job Description

Job Summary:

  • Wood is currently recruiting Project Designers / Senior Project Designers responsible for Interpreting P&IDs and Process Flow Sheets. The incumbent will be responsible for Quality of own back drafting including associated data.
  • Interpreting P&IDs and Process Flow Sheets.
  • Should ensure correct flow of information/data on P&IDs.
  • Quality of own back drafting including associated data.
  • Understanding all relevant drafting procedures and instructions.
Responsibilities:
  • Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Interfacing with architects, and other clients, code officials and others discipline leads within the organization.
  • Must be a self-motivated with initiative, drive and determination.
  • Assigns tasks to engineers, technicians or administrative staff.
  • Prepare structural engineering calculations, reports, construction drawings and specifications.
