The ideal candidate will play a key role in application development, performance optimization, and ensuring stability and availability of critical systems in production.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and maintain scalable Python applications for backend processing and data workflows.
    • Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data manipulation and reporting.
    • Provide L2/L3 production support, troubleshoot real-time issues, and ensure quick resolution within SLAs.
    • Monitor system performance, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and apply fixes or enhancements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and business analysts.
    • Automate recurring production support tasks using Python and shell scripting.
    • Participate in release and deployment activities including code reviews and change management.
    • Ensure system documentation, runbooks, and support manuals are up to date.
    Required Skills:
    • Strong programming in Python including file handling, data processing, APIs, and exception handling.
    • Advanced SQL & SQL scripting skills including stored procedures, views, triggers, and performance tuning.
    • Hands-on production support experience incident management, monitoring tools, log analysis, RCA.
    • Familiarity withLinux/Unixenvironments and shell scripting.
    • Experience withversion control toolslike Git and CI/CD pipelines.
    • Knowledge of job schedulers (e.g., Autosys, Control-M) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with ITIL framework and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or JIRA.
    • Good communication and coordination skills with ability to work in a 24x7 support model if needed.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and databases like PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL Server.
    • Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Splunk, Datadog, or ELK.
    • Exposure to data pipelines, ETL tools, or batch processing frameworks is advantageous.
