Job Description

We are seeking exceptional senior quality assurance professional who will join the Digital engineering organization and play a key role in developing Waygates digital inspection solutions and products. We play in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT), Digital workflows, and other relevant digital areas, in the NonDestructive Testing (NDT) industry.

DS engineering organization is global cross functional team developing NDT software,IIOT and other DS serving NDT industry. This is open in core engineering team that is based in Bangalore. This team drives development of the core technologies fuelling the growth of Waygate digital business.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Contributing leading the overall verification strategy for the product/solution under development by working with Test architect/Lead
  • Developing and own the verification plans and reports for the complete system
  • Working with the product owner and software developers continuously to align the test execution strategy and plan.
  • Writing functional and automated tests where applicable and test harnesses application and services under test

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Be a graduate in Computer Science . A minimum 6 yrs of professional experience
  • Have proven ability to develop timely and effective solutions for testing and debugging complex design problems.
  • Have understanding of system design concepts and subsystem interactions and interfaces
  • Have understanding of different levels testing and behavioural driven design testing techniques
  • Have understanding of network technology and configurations
  • Have ability to troubleshoot network, hardware, OS, virtual machines, and applications
