Role Overview:As a Senior Quality Assurance engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in identifying, exploring, and implementing technology and product development strategies to strengthen our global position. Your work will directly contribute to the execution of innovative projects and the development and testing of robust R&D projects aimed at driving business profitability.Key Responsibilities:- Define test objectives, write and execute test cases and test scenarios, and perform planning activities for SCADA and Energy Management Systems.- Create automatic tests and provide support for their maintenance.- Effectively document identified defects and collaborate with DevOps and developers to resolve any product issues.- Validate Software installation and upgrade instructions for different Transmission Network applications within EMS / GMS / MMS space.- Continuously expand skills in the field of testing and enhance knowledge of the projects business domain.- Act as a member of a cross-discipline team, actively participate in all team activities, and focus on achieving common goals.- Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.- Embrace Hitachi Energys core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility for your actions while caring for colleagues and the business.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in engineering with more than 5 years of professional experience in quality assurance, and at least 3 years of experience working in the SCADA, EMS, GMS applications within the Transmission domain.- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with QA best practices and methodologies.- Experience in low-level (API, integration) testing in microservices architecture.- Knowledge of Python, Robot Framework, Azure DevOps, Database installations, and Postgres is a plus.- Good understanding of microservices architecture and testing-related topics such as message queues, Kubernetes, and Docker.- Effective team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn new things.- Nice to have: Experience in Azure DevOps / Jira / Helm.- Proficiency in both spoken and written English language is required.(Note: The additional details about the company were not present in the provided job description.)
