Job Description

We are looking for a Senior SOC Infrastructure Engineer.The complexity of the chip has increased manifold over the years. We are now packing tens of billions of transistors in a chip to meet the growing computing demand in a footprint that is responsible to our environment. The Nvidia System-On-Chip (SOC) group is looking for a top engineer to join our team! You should have real passion for methodologies and automation solutions that enable SOC creation in the most optimized way.In this position, you will get the chance to build workflows that influence complex GPU and Tegra chips and interface directly with unit-level ASIC, Physical Design, CAD, Software, DFT and other teams.What youll be doing:

  • Define and develop system-level methodologies and tools to build SOCs in an efficient and scalable manner
  • Improve build, release, and integration tools and procedures
  • Support IP teams with chip build related issues
  • Identify pain points and inefficiencies in the front-end chip implementation process and propose ideas to solve them
What we need to see:
  • BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in chip design, specializing in SOC integration, version control, and build automation, or as a build and release engineer
  • Strong coding skills in Perl, Python, Makefile, Shell script, or other industry-standard scripting languages
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to get along with cross functional teams across sites and cultures to build consensus
  • Experience in RTL design (Verilog), verification (UVM, SystemVerilog) and C/C is a plus.
  • Experience in synthesis and physical design is a plus
