Job Description

Role Summary

  • The IoT Platform Engineering team is responsible for the architecture and infrastructure of the Red Raven Industrial IoT platform.
  • This position will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of the IoT platform by building well designed and reusable systems.

Preferred Experience / Skills: Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Engineering or Master of Computer Application (MCA) with Bachelor s in Engineering with minimum 5 years of professional experience

Required Skills

  • Strong foundation in computer science and SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
  • At least 5 year of software development with MS Visual Studio .NET using C#
  • At least 2 year of experience in Web Services, Java Script, and Cloud environments (Azure/AWS)
  • Must be a team player, able to problem-solve and work constructively with customers and co-workers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud gateways, queues, Azure Event Hub, Azure IoT Hub, MQTT, OPC/UA.
  • Experience with PTC ThingWorx, OSI PI, SQL, PostgreSQL, Python based software development
  • Experience working with distributed teams located around the world on multiple time zones.
  • Experience with monitoring and diagnostics of industrial (IOT) equipment data
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities Requirements

  • Industrial IoT platform. This position will play a critical role in the design, development, and support of the IoT platform by building well designed and reusable systems.
  • The position will report to the IoT Platform Engineering team and will be located at our Bengaluru location.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for all phases of software system development / implementation life cycle including requirements gathering, software design, development, testing and post-production support.
  • Identify, research, design, develop, integrate, and implement cutting-edge IoT solutions.
  • Incorporate monitoring and troubleshooting techniques in high velocity data processing analytics pipelines.
  • Lead architectural and solution design discussions, ensuring that the infrastructure is performant, fault tolerant and maintainable.
  • Communicate with product engineering and business development teams to deliver the relevant technical solution.
