Senior Software Engineer
It s your chance to make a mark in the Care space by working on products that customers love and build new features that make an impact. We take customer satisfaction and renewals seriously, so a big part of your role is to also ensure that what you do is of high quality. The job is to start working on our Care product line and help redefine how brands watch customers in their digital journey and create the right interventions in each step of their journey.
As a Senior Software Engineer you will play a pivotal role in making different solutions of our Care product line highly successful, by leveraging your expertise to implement and maintain complex features while ensuring quality, high-availability and continued innovation. The initial step is to work on our Manage View product and later expand to other products within the Care space.
Responsibilities
Deliver on the product roadmap
Mentor Engineers in the team
Assist/help Lead/Manage with technical planning
Build software that works well (quality), stable and secure
Improve code quality by ing the SOLID design principles
Write unit tests for all new code
Perform extensive code reviews
Work with Product Manager to suggest innovative ideas that lead to feature enhancements
Participate in an on-call rotation and incident management
You are
An engineer with BE/BTech in Computer Science or equivalent degree
A person with 6 years of experience in building enterprise grade products
A strong understanding of microservice architecture
The ability to design, develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice based platforms
Well versed with one or more of these technologies:
5 years of experience in Java
2 years of experience in JavaScript and React
2 years of experience using AWS Services (DynamoDB, ECS, SQS and Kinesis)
2 years of experience using Elasticsearch
Experienced in one or more of these technologies:
SASS, LESS or similar CSS preprocessors
Building large scale user interfaces with ES6, Webpack and Babel
An engineer who writes testable and modular code
Someone who understands git, pull requests and good software development practices
A programmer with a good understanding of Social media domain (nice to have)
A believer in being Agile and not just doing Agile
