Transform the way the world runs networks The Opportunity In your role as a Senior Software Engineer, part of R&D department with Sandvine, you will be part of a highly competent and self- sustaining team that are proud to always have Customer Success as number one priority. In your role, you will be involved in ensuring Sandvine is developing the right solution for the customers. You will be working very closely with the Sales Engineers, Professional Services engineers and System Architects. Your interactions will also involve leaders from different departments and regions. Understanding and de- risking solution designs will be a top priority. Enabling the Sales team from the R&D perspective is key to the success of your role. We identify ourselves as team players, innovative, curious and we perform on a global playground and work on highly complex products and top customers in telco space. You are passionate about understanding customer network solutions, have experience in performance/ benchmark/ dimensioning testing. You have proven record of taking initiatives to ensure customer success. The Job Review solution design (HLD/ LLD) and make recommendations for customer deployments Assist with field projects from time to time, that may require solution validation Discussions/ Communicate with Sales Engineering and Professional Services leaders and engineers Identify opportunities for streamlining project operations, knowledge sharing This position is in Bangalore, India. What skills you bring A graduate (or) post graduate in Computer Science (or similar) from a reputed University/ college Experience from system testing such as performance measurement, benchmarking and dimensioning A background from Telecom or Data networks with prior experience in Virtualization is highly preferred. High experience of SW development or test in a Cloud and Virtualization environment Work exposure to Databases, Micro- strategy is preferred Good coding skills in any of these languages: Python, Tcl, Shell, C Strong analytical skills and adept at presenting and interpreting quantitative information in the most appropriate format. Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/ IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/ WAN environments; familiar with routers, switches and firewalls) Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc) Experience from working in a Linux development environment Self- motivated learner who can adapt quickly to change Fluent in English, both in speech and in writing About Sandvine Networks are evolving, and operators need to keep up.
