The Senior Software Development Engineer in the NetScaler Gateway Infrastructure team will work with a highly passionate and motivated team to design, develop and enhance a spectrum of features on NetScaler Gateway Cloud Services across various Remote Access/Gateway, Authentication and Analytics related areas.

Citrix Networking team is responsible for networking elements of the Citrix strategy. This includes NetScaler Application Delivery Controller (ADC), NetScaler SD-WAN products.

Platform team is part of the fast-growing Citrix Networking team. The team is responsible for delivering Platforms for all products within Citrix Networking product line including the following:

• The spectrum of platforms for Citrix Networking solutions

• Physical bare metal (on Citrix hardware),

• Physical hypervised (on Citrix hardware),

• Virtual platforms (XEN, ESX, Hyper-V, KVM, ),

• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Openstack, Cloudstack, .)

• The complete life cycle of the platforms from architecting, to designing, to supporting them in the field and finally to seamless transitions to next-generation platforms.

Primary Responsibilities

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug complex networking software system in an empowered individual and team environment. Job duties include systems and server software development on Unix based platforms for networking products; utilize strong C programming skills in a very large and complex networking product code base; network and systems programming; kernel debugging; inter-networking protocols such as HTTP and TCP/IP; content/L7 switching; SSLVPN Clientless VPN; AAA, SSO, Multi-Factor Federated Authentication(SAML, Kerberos, etc.); CloudConnector/IPSEC tunnel; utilization of multi-threaded programming in a clustered/distributed systems environment. Innovate in a very dynamic, empowered and fast pace environment developing networking products that are of the highest product quality/performance and which form the always-onfront-end of the internet, mobile and enterprise web infrastructure.

Qualifications, Knowledge Skills and Requirements

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical field. Masters Degree Highly Preferred. Preferred 5+ years of experience in software product development and life-cycle maintenance Preferred experience or graduate-level coursework must include systems and server software development on Unix platforms; very strong C programming; excellent knowledge/application of inter-networking protocols such as HTTP and TCP/IP; network and systems programming; utilization of multi-threaded programming; clustering/distributed technologies and Operating Systems(OS) internals. Spirited and self-driven can-do attitude with excellent work ethic, communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in using Azure/AWS and other cloud technologies and deployment automation using Ansible scripting. Knowledge in the usage of cloud tools like cloud watch, new relic, splunk, sumo logic is a plus.
