Job Description

FireEye is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build scalable REST APIs and API authentication application using modern technologies such as Kubernetes, Go (golang) or Python, Docker, Django. Build applications and APIs to support Helix Integrations.

What you will do:

  • Develop integration modules for multiple spoke products like Email, Network, Endpoint and Cloud products to provide a broader view and better context to detect, hunt, and contain.
  • Build data streaming applications and APIs using the latest best practices and technologies
  • Work on different Spoke products to integrate with Helix Cloud Platform
  • Develop and Maintain highly scalable authentication service for SaaS architecture
  • Optimize applications for optimal performance, painless auto-scaling and efficient resource utilization
  • Evangelize delivering software using an agile methodology, true DevOps and CI/CD development practices
Qualifications
  • We are seeking software developer with 5+ years of experience in systems software or API and experience with Python development.
  • Experience with high-performant REST APIs, strong understanding of HTTP is plus
  • The candidate should have proficiency of one or more of the following languages: Go/Python/C++. A person with keen interest to learn new languages is welcome
  • The ideal candidate is a creative and curious motivated team player
  • Understanding of Operating Systems and TCP/IP Networking concepts is desirable
  • Experience with Authentication modules is a plus
  • AWS, CI/CD and Kubernetes/docker experience is desirable but not required.
