Selected candidate will be part of Enterprise Business Unit of Altair, and shall be working with core product development teams in developing next generation products and vertical solutions on top of that for HPC ,Enterprise Data and Process Management domains. Please go through our product suite websites http://www.pbsworks.com , http://www.altair.com/simulation-cloud , http://www.altair.com/hwod/Selected candidate will be working on upcoming products in EBU.Own design and implementation of various components on server side.Guide team in implementation of various micro services architecture based components.Perform Code reviews and design reviews.Must have exposure to TDD.Timely communications to stakeholder teams on status and any risks for the project.Must contribute in development directly to some of the high value features.Must be hands on with technologies.Evaluate and propose new technologies as per business needs.Must be able to own development of server side component of a upcoming product.Must be able to collaborate and guide UI developers on integration aspects.Key Skills and Experience:Candidate must possess very good verbal and written communication skills.Exposure to working in Agile / Scrum based teams is a must.Strong analytical and debugging skills is a must.Ability to work with minimum guidance is highly desirable.Candidate must be ready to work in a highly challenging and rewarding environment.Candidate must be ready to make decisions in ambiguous situations or and seek for help.Must have demonstrated technical ownership of end to end delivery of certain set of modules in his past experience.Must have Test Driven Development exposure.Have worked on micro services based applications.Must have a very good knowledge in OOPs, Design Patterns and Java Language , multithreaded programming andMust have excellent command on JEE, REST APIs, Spring, JPA, Hibernate based server-side applications.Candidate must have good command on SQL (postgres, oracle) etc. and NoSQL databases (mongodb).Must have exposure to diagnose performance issues in production.Must have exposure to Linux and performance debugging tools .Nice to have full stack development exposureMust have excellent debugging skills.Must have exposure on how to use Docker cloud based deployment environments.,
