Job Description

You will utilize your technical aptitude, experience, communication, leadership and analytical skills to solve complex system problems. you work as part of an innovative software team working with a variety of technologies (i.e. web applications, databases, micro-services, big data, machine learning, etc.) and standard design patterns to produce quality production code.Position Summary - The Senior Engineer will handle development of critical large scale distributed systems. Responsible for integrity of technical work on projects. Helps to plan, estimate, organize, and perform the technical work of an assignment. Extensive knowledge and discipline in software engineering process; experience on complex projects, providing guidance on design and development approach.Role & Responsibility -

  • Design and development full stack PHP applications from UI, backend to DB using PHP 7, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
  • Extensive knowledge and discipline in software engineering process; experience on complex projects, providing guidance on design and development approach.
  • Work closely with other developers in an agile team to maintain and develop new and existing web properties.
  • Comfortable working and multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Responsible for integrity of technical work on projects. Helps to plan, estimate, organize, and perform the technical work of an assignment.
  • Ability and desire to always be learning new technologies, frameworks, tools, languages, etc.
  • Improve our development culture: promote innovation, new technologies, trends, methodologies, development tools, best practices, processes, libraries, etc.
  • Generates test cases, documentation, and participates in peer code reviews to ensure software quality.
  • Stay current with evolving standards and technologies, implementing them within assignments as appropriate.
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
Education -
  • 5 years of developing full stack PHP applications (UIBackend).
  • Bachelor s degree (masters highly preferred) in related field.
  • Programming: Strong PHP OOD skills. Experience with OO JavaScript, bootstrap and frameworks like React, Vue.js, Ember, etc.
  • Database: SQL, RDMS (SQL Server, MySQL), noSQL DBMS (BigTable, Cassandra)
  • Web Technologies: MVC based Web Apps, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful), AJAX, HTML, TCP/IP
  • Frameworks: Laravel, Phing, Vue.js
  • Process: Agile/SCRUM, Continuous Integration/Deployment
Optional:
  • Micro-services experience
  • Experience with LMS platforms
  • Nightwatch.js
  • Google App Engine, Google Cloud Platform experience
  • PHP Certifications
