Job Description

  • A Bachelor s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
  • Overall industry experience of 5 to 8 years
  • Expert in Python and familiarity with one or more of the following programming languages - Java, Scala, JavaScript
  • Experience in two or more of the following Database Technologies Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop, Cassandra, HBase
  • Knowledge of design patterns, architectural best practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful web services
  • Knowledge of version control tools like Git, SVN etc.
  • Familiarity with messaging frameworks like Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ etc.
  • Familiarity with data modeling, statistical analysis and database design is a big plus
  • Knowledge of software vulnerabilities, threats, risk assessment, security tools and security research is a big plus
  • Working experience with Amazon Web Services is a plus
An ideal candidate should also be able to demonstrate the following abilities:
  • Troubleshoot issues in complex, distributed, multi-tier architectures.
  • Learn and adapt to new technologies.
