Job Description

    Job Responsibilities1 Administer and support Oracle Exadata environments including RAC ASM and Grid Infrastructure2 Perform database patching upgrades and performance tuning on Exadata systems3 Monitor and manage storage cells compute nodes and Infiniband switches4 Troubleshoot database and hardware issues in coordination with Oracle support5 Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Guard6 Ensure high availability and disaster recovery configurations are in place and tested7 Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for performance optimizationExperience Required 7 to 10 yearsHybrid modelLocation - Bangalore & PuneRequirements1) 7 to10 years experience as Exadata admin on prem and Cloud2) Strong handson experience with Oracle Exadata X7 and above preferred3) Strong handson experience with on prem Oracle Database to Exadata OCI database migration4) Proficiency in Oracle RAC ASM RMAN and Data Guard5) Proficiency in Oracle Autonomous DB6) Experience with Exadata monitoring tools eg OEM AWR ADDM7Worked on Heavy databases 100 TB Filesystem and ASM8) Adding Disk in ASM and Adding datafiles in RAC temp files etc The skills you bring9) Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures RMAN backup Level0 level1 level2 Logical Backup Exports10) Different backup and recovery scenarios understanding through RMAN11) Restoration backup point in time recovery control file restoration datafile restoration12) Implement and maintain Database security create and maintain users and roles assign privileges13) Perform database tuning and performance monitoring Plan changing understanding how to fix plan14) Perform application tuning and performance monitoring
