  • Driving and sustaining best-in-class technical support/engagements, and demonstrated success in helping technically to Win complex design opportunities.
  • Should be able to Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex customer reported issues in a timely manner.
  • Should strive to be a regional subject matter expert on Marvell networking Phy device offerings.
  • Train/present customers on key components/capabilities of Marvell SDK and the benefits of the chip s architecture and features for their application(s) vs the competition.
  • Prepare and present technical demos and trainings for trade-shows and customers when necessary.
  • Own the technical response to customer RFIs and RFQs. Assist Sales team to win key designs using Marvell Phys.
  • Reviewing customer schematics and layout designs.
  • Replicate issues and testing customer configurations in a lab environment. Review and assist in the debugging of customer Firmware.
  • Support customer system integration and firmware teams integrating Marvell Phys in their products. Help them during board bring up phase.
  • Interface with other regional/WW FAE Team members, engineering and product management to escalate and resolve issues.
  • Author technical knowledge base articles for use by customers, other technical support personnel, and partners.
  • Review and provide feedback on Marvell technical documents, specifications, manuals, app notes, white papers, product briefs, etc.
Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with high speed PCB layout, signal integrity, assembly and manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with Ethernet Networking Interfaces from 1Gbps to 400Gbps, Including MAC, PCS and Physical Layer
  • Must have had exposure to lab equipment including high speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and traffic generators.
  • Experience in SerDes and complex mixed signal IC. Knowledge of high speed interface protocols and standards is preferred.
  • Prior experience of working with Marvell or other optical Phys is a plus
  • Working experience on MACSEC and Link security is a plus.
  • Experience in interop of phy with phy, phy with MAC would be a plus.
  • Must be able to understand the software flow of in house and customer source code. Must be able to handle API changes in both Windows/Linux based development environments. Must be able to help customers integrate Marvell API into their products.
  • Ability to write scripts for automation.
  • Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience with building and maintaining engineering relationships at key networking and server customer is a plus
  • Previous experience in technical customer engineering support role is desired.
Educational Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor s degree and or/Masters degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related fields and 6-12 years of related professional experience.
