Intels Tester and Platform Technology Development TPTD Team is seeking passionate and energetic Software Engineers to help in software development of the next generation Intel test equipment. The test equipment provides a breakthrough massively parallel low cost test technology for silicon validation and high volume manufacturing We are currently developing the next generation of the tester including significant HW and SW architectural changes above and beyond current generation ATE that will enable a universal tester cell infrastructure and provide the best user experience for Intel Product Development community. The team includes all aspects of HW and SW development of the tester. We are looking for talented and experienced engineers with strong SW engineering background and technical leadership skills Successful candidates would have hands on experience in ATE SW development or a SW project with similar scope who are motivated to seeing their creative solutions used to test by billions of Intel devices in the next decade The candidate will work with a talented cross-geographical team on 1 Feature development and support for HDMT and HBI tester platforms 2 Quality assurance and performance optimization of HDMT and HBI SW The job responsibilities include technical leadership of the TPTD India site including ramping up team member competence on the tester platforms Require strong engineering experience to lead a strong technical team The position requires the ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects while balancing deadlines and priorities in addition to communication with the organizations technical leadership in the US. You will be working with a 70 SW engineering team and other managers to develop and validate software and interactive tools for Intel products and have opportunities to contribute to the entire tester software stack and ecosystem such as PCIe, USB, Windows drivers, C++ data structure, compiler, API, GUI etc. Responsibilities include but are not limited to Develop new software and hardware features on Intel Testers. Analyzes software requirements architect and design SW features and capabilities and create a robust SW implementation. Debugs software products using systematic methods to develop apply and maintain quality standards for company products. Develop design and architecture documents write unit tests and partner with validation team to ensure quality. Maintains SW stack build and unit test integrity and follows all development processes. Analyzes and maintains unit test coverage static code analysis and performance optimizations. Ability to be a Scrum team Product Owner and technical lead for the team. Collaboration and Communication with geo-diverse team.
