Job Description

  • The Candidate will report to the CISO-Rakuten India
  • The Role has high visibility upto the CXOs across Rakuten India Rakuten Group companies across the globe
  • The Role demands the individual to be a strong communicator, Negotiator one who can understand the importance of GRC at the organization Level
  • Individually capable of coordinating end to end Audits related to ISO 27001,PCI-DSS Etc.
  • The individual must be capable of understanding the Global regulations and the importance of Complying to regulations such as GDPR, CCPA etc.
  • The Role demands the individual to be strong Decision maker understanding the BIG Picture of the organisation.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Strong communication and Stakeholder interaction skills.
  • Good organizational and project management skill-able to understand all the wings of Information Security.
  • Capable to coordinate and implement DLP Solution within the Organisation.
  • Ensure compliance issues are correctly identified, evaluated, investigated and resolved.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments whenever necessary report to the respective Department Heads
  • Provide consultative services to business areas ( Internal Departments) on the appropriate controls needed to ensure ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Strong experience and detailed understanding of technology, regulations, and information security or compliance management best practice, processes or methods.
  • Ability to identify the implications of Information Security and Compliance to the current and future environment ( ISO Implementations, GDPR CCPA )
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend preventative and corrective controls to mitigate risk to the organization.
  • Understand the various ISO standards related to Facility Security measures, Support Organisation with ERT renewals
  • Managing Information Security Policies for the Organisation
  • Additional knowledge on Privacy is desirable
  • The individual will stay in constant touch with the CISO India Japan for major implementations and transition of activities
  • Consistently demonstrates strong leadership skills to enhance the security posture of the organisation
Secondary Responsibilities
  • Able to conduct Governance, GDPR PCI specific Knowledge trainings Trainings across the Organisation -On Demand
  • Conduct Awareness programs through Newsletters, TV Broadcast Communications ( Slides to be prepared posted for a specific awareness )
  • Consulting with IT, Facilities Finance whenever necessary
  • Suggest Process Improvements whenever necessary
  • Good Documentation skills
  • Perform Floor walk audit and consistently provides improvements for the facility management
  • Update, Manage Maintain the Policy repository conduct periodic reviews
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall Improvement of security posture of the organisation and one who will be able to get things done without much Hassle and escalations,
