The successful candidate s responsibilities will include:Testing of features and enhancements made in product to achieve customer highavailability network requirements, while reaching defined scale and performance targets.Automating complete end-to-end feature testing and integrating the same in Regression Environment.Working in a team-based Agile Environment; collaborate with Developers, and Product Management to refine requirements, develop, and test our Carrier grade solutions.Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues.Keenly following and participating in standardization activities in this space.ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONSDegree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Programming/Scripting experience in Python or any modern test automation language.Web Automation experience in Selenium or any other similar technologies. Experience of testing and automating distributed scale-out backend systems and large web-scale systems Knowledge/experience in databases such as Mongo, RedisKnowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols (e.g. GNMI).Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, both written and verbalDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment ADDITIONAL ASSETSExperience with microservices architectureKnowledge/experience with KubernetesKnowledge in IP networking, familiar with networking concepts and routing protocols (ie BGP, IP, VPN, VLAN)Job Role : Software Development Engineer Platforms and SystemsAs a key member of the ION SRPG team, you will be designing platforms and systems software for the 7210 line of products.Desired Skills/Requirements :
