Job Description

    Our client is one of the leading consulting firms which provides industry focused services for clients across geographies. We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their Valuation Manager, where you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the Prudential Valuation framework, ensuring the integrity of the IPV and Fair Value reserving processes, and independently assessing the valuation and associated uncertainty of assets and liabilities within the business. Some of the key responsibilities will include : - As our Valuation Manager, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain appropriate policies and procedures for IPV, bid offer reserves, model reserves, and calibrations of parametrized models. - You will also conduct regular reviews of observability of the different market data used by the Trading Desk in marking their books and do an independent review of Significant deals, substantiating the Day1 P&L from the same. - You will have the opportunity to work with regular face-offs with Traders, Quants, Model Validation, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders, and manage relationships with support teams (IT, Operations, and Risk). To be eligible for this role you will require : - Minimum 12-17 years experience in financial institutions and/or highly regulated technology dependent industries. - Experience in advisory, audit, or consulting roles that require strong stakeholder management is an advantage. - You should have excellent communication and analytical skills, be able to challenge the status quo, and work collaboratively with others.,
