Job Description

  • Working majority on Incidents and Service request.
  • Provide TIER 2 troubleshooting support to the client.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the issues and performs day to day administration task.
  • Investigate and provide the inputs for RCA for P1 and P2 incidents.
  • Perform the system administration tasks and patching
  • Executes the scheduled changes and the tasks.
  • Take the ownership of the tickets and work towards the resolution
  • Perform the activities within the defined SLA
  • Adhere to the Change Management and incident management process
  • Work with the external vendors for resolution. To be the right fit, youll need
  • Required to work in 24*7 shift roster Performs specific delivery management activities.
Requirement Details:
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Suse and RHEL system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in working on Production environment, hands on experience in doing security and kernel patching.
  • Experience in troubleshooting the file system related issues.
  • Experience in troubleshooting of Redhat Linux and Suse in VMware Environment
  • RHCSA and RHCE certification or course work .
  • ITIL Foundation certification or coursework
  • Excellent customer service attitude and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Self-starter, works well with little oversight and prioritizes own work appropriately
  • Knowledge about configuration tools like salt, ansible, puppet , chef would be added advantage.
Desirable requirements:
  • RHCSA and RHCE certification.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or coursework.
