Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. BS in Computer Science or related field., The candidate hired in this position will be part Application Management Services (AMS) team supporting Health Sciences Global Business Unit (HSGBU) cloud offerings. HSGBU AMS team operates on a 24*7 model and the candidate will be supporting Argus cloud service for Production customers hosted on Oracle Cloud.General RequirementsMinimum of 2-8 yrs of Siebel implementation & administration experience. (Siebel 7.x/8.x).In-depth knowledge of Siebel Server Architecture.Experience in setting up environments for Siebel Installation, installing Siebel enterprise server, SSO setup,LDAP configuration setup s, Repository migration, DDL Sync, Setting up of different Siebel clients (Web client, Remote client, PDA, Wireless).Experience in Performance tuning of the Application/Database.Experience in Disaster Recovery setup.Hands-on experience in Siebel Clustering/Database Cluster.Hands-on experience in all Operating systems Windows, Linux, and UNIX.Capable of handling any Siebel server crash and getting back the system to stable condition.Deploy application (LOV, SRF, Repository, Web services, etc.) and contribute to migration preparation and tasks.Administration, Maintenance and support of Siebel instances on qualification and production environments.Ability to effectively provision, install/configure, operate and maintain Argus and vendor packaged software applications/packages.Minimum 2-5 years of experience in system design, administration, application software, and operations required.Ability to research and develop solutions to new or unknown Siebel and Database issuesAble to work independently, manage time and complete tasks within deadlinesProactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized.Assist project teams with technical issues, including definition of needs, benefits, technical strategy, technical analysis and design, support of operations staff in executing, testing, and roll-out of solutions.Technical Requirements:Experience in Database Admin/OBIEE background.Should have good hands on SiebelCRM/OBIEE Integration using SSO authentication.Clinical Domain experience.Siebel 7x/8.x Certification.Should have excellent communication skills.Should play customer interfacing role.Should be able to write shell /perl scripts, decode existing scripts and modify as per requirementsHands on experience on UNIX shell scripting, Chef scripting.Understanding of local and wide area networks, protocol and simple network troubleshootingQualifications: Solid technical background and experience working with Oracle SiebelPossess fine-tuned analytical and troubleshooting skills and/or programming experienceShould have worked on any ticketing toolPossess system deployment/implementation expertise; preferably in a regulated environmentPossess good organizational and communication skillsKnowledge of the clinical drug development industry, procedures/processes, and regulatory standards desirableProficiency in related, underlying technologies, including SQL, Oracle, XML, and integration technologies and standardsPossess a working knowledge in software development tools, practices and life cycle methodologiesExperience with producing documentation in a regulatory-compliant environmentAbility to handle multiple tasksBachelors degree in technical domain or Bachelors degree and applicable technical educationMinimum Required Education and Experience2-5 years of experience in IT Operations & SupportHave worked for a Pharma and or CRO at least for 2 or more yearsBachelors degree in IT or equivalentFamiliarity with FDA and EMA Drug and Device Safety Reporting regulations desirableFamiliarity and Experience with Agile methodology and ScrumITIL Certification is preferred
