Daily Responsibilities* Leading team of Site Reliability Engineers in Sensormatic Solutions Bangalore* Maintain goals & accountabilities for direct reports and provide reporting on performance* Work with international teams to keep processes aligned to achieve customer service excellence* Analyzing, investigating, and identifying root cause of complex customer issues, and communicatefindings to appropriate group for resolution. Resolving issues that do not require escalation* Reviewing workflow tickets created and ensure issues are properly addressed.* Monitoring and reporting status of tickets to respective internal/external customers and interestedparties* Strictly following change control process* 24/7 on call duty in case of emergencies, based on rotating shifts* Responding to alerts promptly and escalate issues when necessary* Working off-hours periodically to accommodate maintenance/downtime windows* Creating and updating Runbook documents and procedures for troubleshooting and systemmanagement* Being responsible for all internal/external facing customer report distribution and maintenance* Providing low-to-moderate level internal and/or customer network support* Participating in Research and Development activity as needed to progress new or improved products,processes, or formulas* Performing miscellaneous job-related duties and projects as assignedBasic Duties* Investigating and identifying the root cause of moderately complex customer, network, application, andserver issues.* Assist in application implementation, support, monitoring, change management, and training.* Operate as an escalation liaison between the frontline staff supporting the retail customer utilizing thecloud services and the Development and Cloud Engineering staff.* Oversee team of Site Reliability Engineers and make sure processes and responsibilities are beingadhered to.* Assess performance and provide/develop ideas for improvement.* Transition ongoing activities and issues to next shift.* Rotating weekend shiftsQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:o Strong communicationo Leadership/people management experienceo Cloud computing solutions (AWS, Azure, Google) is a significant plus. o Basic Networking concepts and troubleshooting network connectivity issueso Automatic Job Scheduling softwareo Basic Windows and Linux platforms - Advanced Linuxknowledge a significant pluso Expertise in deployment automation a huge plus - Puppet, Terraform or similar technologies o MS Officeo SAN conceptso Information security concepts6 Years - Bachelors DegreeAdditional Information
