Job Description

Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) is an engineering discipline that combines software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems. This position is for a Site Reliability Engineer responsible for the development and implementation of processes necessary to improve application / system reliability along with operational support. The position would comprise of approximately equal focus on both software development and Infrastructure operation disciplines. This position will also develop software to automate operational processes along with coding for the shared engineering backlog deliverablesMinimum Skills

  • Minimum 5+ years experience hands-on build automation and configuration on the Windows Platform.
  • Experience at the Enterprise level with Windows Server within a mission-critical (preferable financial services) environment required.
  • Functional Knowledge with Jenkins and other automated deployment platforms.
  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory desired.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven success delivering enterprise technologies to end user communities in large-scale enterprise environments required.
  • Excellent communication skills both oral, written and presentation ability required.
  • Ability to coach and transfer knowledge to key stakeholders required.
  • Must be professionally assertive and have the ability to drive business urgency, business impacts and have the ability to drive business priorities.
  • Must have excellent work ethic, ability to work under stress.
  • Extremely strong analytical skills, creative problem solving and strong troubleshooting skills required.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, communication & teamwork, thorough in Quality Analysis required.
  • Positive attitude and strong client-focus, ability to work flexible hours (24/7) where required
  • Strong planning and execution skills and the ability to follow-through required.
